On 23 September, the Culinary Arts Institute at Varna University of Management welcomed its first-year students in the ‘Hospitality and Culinary Arts’ and ‘Gastronomy and Culinary Arts’ programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The new academic year began with an introductory lecture, marking the start of the educational journey of a new generation of students who have chosen to pursue a career in hospitality, gastronomy, and the culinary arts.

The opening lecture was delivered by the Director of the Culinary Arts Institute, Chef Hugues Boutin. He shared his professional experience and vision for the development and future of gastronomy, highlighting the importance of creativity, dedication, professional skills, and the pursuit of high standards.

The beginning of the academic year also marks the start of a new professional and personal journey for the students – one filled with opportunities for development, hands-on experience, creativity, and new knowledge.
