Professional acquisition course: teacher qualification

For higher education graduates and current second-year students who have received or will receive higher education in economics, tourism and information technology.

Successful graduates receive a “Certificate of Professional Qualification” Teacher “, which gives the right to work in the relevant professional field:

• training in the most modern educational methods – training based on problem solving, training through experience and based on experience, game methods;
• training implementing a world-renowned philosophy of education;
• compulsory teaching practice, which is directed and supported by leading teachers-mentors;
• opportunity for each participant in the course to receive a certificate with credits for participation in a master class of their choice without paying a fee.

In the process of training each participant in the course is provided with syllabi and other didactic materials.

Computer Modeling
Time: 09-11.06.2017

Abstract: The course is suitable for primary teachers and teachers of informatics and information technology. Aims to give basic preparation for teaching the subject Computer Modeling in 3rd and 4th grade. The main possibilities of the visual programming environment Scratch will be considered, as well as the creation of interactivity with Makey Makey. In the process of teaching, teachers will create didactic materials for the curriculum. Prerequisite is basic computer literacy. Deadline for enrollment: June 2, 2017. Start time: 10:00 am on June 9, 2017, Deadline: 4:00 pm on June 11, 2017. Two qualification credits are awarded for the training.

Online tools for creating e-lessons
Time: 17-18.06.2017

Abstract: The course is suitable for teachers of all specialties. Introduction to online tools for creating an electronic lesson, opportunities for design and publication. In the process of training, teachers will create electronic content suitable for their pedagogical practice and will have the opportunity to publish it on a website. Prerequisite is basic computer literacy, skills for working on the Internet, pre-prepared didactic materials in digital form (text, video, images, useful links) in connection with a lesson in the specialty. Deadline for enrollment: June 9, 2017. Start time: 10:00 am on June 17, 2017, Deadline: 5:00 pm on June 18, 2017. Two qualification credits are awarded for the training.

Google Learning Tools
Time: 24-25.06.2017

Abstract: The course is suitable for teachers of all specialties. Get acquainted with the possibilities provided by the Google account – work in Google Drive, conference calls, work on shared documents, maps, creating and using forms and site, connecting with other applications. In the learning process, teachers will use the capabilities of the Google Account programs for learning purposes. Prerequisite is basic computer literacy, skills for working on the Internet, a pre-created profile in google.bg. Deadline for enrollment: June 16, 2017. Start time: 10:00 am on June 24, 2017, Deadline: 5:00 pm on June 25, 2017. Two qualification credits are awarded for the training.

Request to participate:
An application for participation in each of the workshops is submitted by 17.00. on the specified date in the form of the address: <a href=”http://url.itbg.eu/423657″> http://url.itbg.eu/423657.text </a> Applications are accepted until the group is filled of 12 participants and at least 5 enrolled students! After discussing the applications, DMOM sends an official invitation to the candidates included in the Workshop. The workshops are held in the building of the Varna University of Management in Dobrich, and each student is provided with individual computer work. Those who wish can bring their own or business laptops. Subscribers will receive instructions by email for preparation. At the end of the workshop the participants will have made real products suitable for their pedagogical work. Facebook groups will be set up for ongoing communication and support. Successful completion of the Workshop is done through independent implementation of a practical task and sharing in the group. The Department of Modern Training Methods certifies the successful completion of the Workshop through a Certificate for additional training and awarding credits. Participation Fee: The participation fee for each training is BGN 80. It is paid after receiving a confirmation of participation and no later than 5 days before the start of the Workshop on the account of VUM.

Curriculum:

• Healthy and safe conditions of training and work
• Labor law knowledge
• Anatomy, physiology and hygiene of the child
• Organization of the daily stay of children in kindergartens
• Education of the child
• Pedagogical communication
• Modern approaches to interaction with parents
• Special pedagogy
• Training practice, which includes: didactic games, mobile games, sports games and walks, sports-role games, drawing classes, dance classes, singing classes, organization of workplace hygiene.

-Form of training: present form. 2 times a week (Saturday and Sunday) 8 hours a day.
-Duration of training: 150 teaching hours / 8 weeks
-Form of completion: the student takes exams in theory and practice
Certification: upon successful completion of the training a “Certificate for professional training” is issued in the profession “Assistant educator”, specialty “Assistant educator in the upbringing and education of children”
-Participation fee: The participation fee is BGN 150. It includes working materials and the fee for issuing the certificate.
