Varna Municipality has opened applications for the Annual Named Student Awards for outstanding achievements by students from Varna’s higher education institutions.
We encourage all full-time VUM students who have placed first, second, or third in student olympiads, international and national competitions, and scientific forums, as well as for outstanding achievements in research activities, to apply for the award.
Who can apply?
Students may apply if, at the time of application, they:
- are enrolled in a full-time study programme;
- have achieved an academic grade of at least “Very Good” (5.00) during the previous academic year;
- have placed first, second, or third in student olympiads, international and national competitions, and scientific forums, as well as for outstanding achievements in research activities.
How to apply?
Applications must be submitted by 23 October 2026 via email to info@vum.bg.
The following documents must be included with the application:
- An official document confirming the student’s academic results for the previous academic year, which can be obtained from the Academic Affairs Office;
- Copies of documents certifying participation and achievements in international and national competitions and contests, student olympiads (for students ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd), or academic and scientific forums (for students with outstanding performance).
After the required documents have been submitted, applicants will be provided with an application form, which must be completed.
