On 16 June 2026, students from Varna University of Management (VUM) visited the ‘Prof. Dr Dimitar Stamatov’ Maternity Hospital in Varna, where they personally delivered the funds collected in support of the hospital’s Neonatology Department.

The fundraising campaign was organised as part of the initiative ‘30 Kind Acts for 30 Years of VUM’, through which the University is marking its 30th anniversary with a series of community-focused and socially responsible activities. Over the course of a month, VUM students, faculty members, and staff joined efforts to collect Bulgarian coins and bills in support of newborn babies and the medical professionals who care for them.

The campaign will continue until the end of June. Anyone wishing to contribute to the cause can do so by placing a donation in the designated donation box located in the lobby of the ‘Prof. Dr Dimitar Stamatov’ Maternity Hospital (150 Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd, Varna).

The initiative ‘30 Kind Acts for 30 Years of VUM’ is implemented with the financial support of the Municipality of Varna.
