Varna University of Management (VUM) has launched its anniversary initiative “30 Kind Acts for 30 Years of VUM” – a volunteer campaign that brings together students, faculty, and partners around meaningful social causes. The campaign is part of the celebrations marking the university’s 30th anniversary and will run until the end of October 2026.

The initiative includes a series of diverse volunteer activities with public value – ranging from social support and charity, to environmental actions and animal care, as well as educational and awareness campaigns. Mixed teams of Bulgarian and international young people will actively participate, highlighting the international spirit and engagement of the academic community.

The first good deed has already been accomplished. VUM joined the charitable initiative “I Believe and I Help” by donating 48 kg of collected plastic caps in support of causes benefiting children and adults in Bulgaria. Students, faculty, and staff united their efforts, collecting caps throughout the campaign and delivering them during the official event.

With this initiative, VUM chooses to celebrate its anniversary not only by reflecting on its achievements, but also by making a real contribution to society. The campaign aims to promote volunteerism, social responsibility, and the active involvement of young people in meaningful causes.
