Varna University of Management (VUM) took part in the charitable campaign of the “I Believe and I Help” foundation, dedicated to collecting plastic caps and monetary donations in support of babies, children, and adults in Bulgaria.
The 14th edition of the initiative took place on April 25, with representatives of Varna University of Management contributing to the cause through a donation of 48 kg of collected plastic caps.
Students, academic and administrative staff of the university united around this noble cause, collecting plastic caps throughout the campaign period at a specially designated collection point on the first floor of the university building. On the day of the event, they also organised the handover of the collected caps in bags, in accordance with the foundation’s requirements. The initiative marks the beginning of VUM’s campaign “30 Kind Acts for 30 Years of VUM,” dedicated to the university’s anniversary. Established in 1996 as a college of tourism, today VUM is an accredited specialised higher education institution in management, celebrating its 30th anniversary in a different way – by organising 30 good deeds across various fields such as charity, awareness, and youth engagement, with the active participation of all members and students of the university.
