We were delighted to host Robert van Rijsbergen, Culinary Director at Uniworld Boutique River Cruises – an award-winning luxury river cruise line operating a fleet of boutique ships across Europe and other international destinations.

During his visit, he met with VUM President Assoc. Prof. Dr Todor Radev, Vice President Ms Vanina Valcheva, CAI Director and Head Chef-Instructor, Chef Hugues Boutin, Assist. Prof. Irina Petkova, Programme Director of the Culinary Programmes for Cardiff Metropolitan University, as well as representatives of the International Mobility Office and the Marketing and Admissions Department.

Our guest was highly impressed by the quality of education, the international focus of our programmes, and the outstanding facilities available to students at the Culinary Arts Institute.

The meetings included discussions on future partnership opportunities, guest chef visits, and joint initiatives that could create great professional development opportunities for our students.
