Students and faculty from universities in Uzbekistan had the opportunity to learn more about the innovative “Simulation of Sustainable International Business” (SOS IB) project, which is implemented through international partnership and funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. The project brings together three higher education institutions and the Croatian Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility (IDOP) to develop digital simulations that will be integrated into both educational and business environments.

The main goal of the project is to enhance the quality of education by utilizing innovative methods and to foster international collaboration among students and lecturers across various disciplines. The core objectives of SOS IB include:

  1. Developing a free digital tool to simulate sustainable international business operations in both education and business training.
  2. Training academic staff to use digital simulations and innovative teaching methods.
  3. Testing the simulations at partner higher education institutions.
  4. Creating a mobile game for individual learning, based on gamification principles.
  5. Conducting a case study on the impact of digital tools on the internationalization of smaller higher education institutions.

The project will deliver four key outputs, which will be freely available to all interested parties:

  1. A digital tool for creating simulations applicable in both education and business contexts.
  2. Simulation scenarios tested and integrated into the curricula of partner institutions.
  3. A mobile game for sustainable international business, designed for individual learning.
  4. A case study and research on the effects of introducing digital tools on the internationalization of smaller higher education institutions.

The SOS IB project is an important tool for creating new learning and collaboration opportunities in the field of sustainable international business and will play a crucial role in preparing students and young professionals for the global market.
