Study at а university ranked among the world’s leaders in student mobility
What does this mean? Actually all VUM students are involved in mobility for the purpose of training and/or practice, which is funded by the Erasmus+ program. The university partners with more than 100 educational institutions in Europe, Asia, North and South America, where students have the opportunity to spend a semester or an academic year on an exchange program. Among them are leading universities in Japan, China, South Korea, USA, Brazil, Mexico, as well as in a number of European countries such as the Netherlands, Great Britain, Switzerland, Norway and others.

International experience at VUM is not limited to training opportunities. As part of their curriculum, students conduct mandatory internships with a total duration of up to 12 months. Thanks to the rich and diverse network of active international partners of VUM, our graduates get the opportunity to work with some of the best employers in the field. For example, students at the Culinary Arts Institute at VUM gain valuable practical experience in high-end restaurants in Europe and even Michelin starred ones. Thus, they get a real opportunity to make contacts, to gain skills and experience in a real environment and to lay the foundations for their future successful career development.

Become a citizen of the world
At Varna University of Management, you will study together with students from nearly 50 countries. You will be part of a multinational family and will get to know the traditions, customs and culture of people from all over the world.
Moreover, thanks to the strategic academic partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK, all students from the English language programs at VUM are awarded two degrees – Bulgarian and British. The educational programs are synchronized with those of Cardiff Metropolitan University and meet the strict requirements not only of the Bulgarian but also of the British higher education system. In short, VUM offers training in Bulgaria, based on British standards, with the possibility of obtaining two degrees.

You aren’t confident enough in your English? And you really want to see the world!
The VUM team has also thought about those who are not yet confident enough in their knowledge of the English language. The students have the opportunity to start their studies in the new Business Administration program (with specializations) at the VUM campus in Dobrich, for which a lower level of language proficiency is required. In the first year, students study the modules planned in the curriculum, in parallel with intensive language training, after which they can transfer to an English-language major.
