Since 2014 the U-Multirank rating system compares the quality of training in higher education institutions around the world. Highly users-oriented, the world ranking covers many aspects of the higher education – research, teaching and learning, international focus, knowledge transfer and regional significance. It allows users to identify a university’s strengths and weaknesses, on the aspects that most interest them. The data included in U-Multirank are drawn from a number of sources, providing users with a comprehensive set of information – data supplied by international and national institutions, drawn from international bibliometric and patent databases from national databases and by surveying more than 100,000 students at the participating universities.
This year, the ranking includes 1759 universities from 92 countries, which are rated under 10 key indicators. In terms of International Student Mobility, for a fourth consecutive year, Varna University of Management takes the highest position, outpacing elite French, German, Swedish and Russian higher education institutions. According to the established standards for Student Mobility ranking the weight is given on the opportunities for training students abroad – mobility (exchange) and the share of international students in the total number of students in the institution.
Varna University of Management ranks among the best in the international education area and by indicators such as Masters graduation rate, Masters graduating on time, Spin-offs in the Knowledge transfer category, Foreign language bachelor’s and master’s programmes and others.
