Students from Varna University of Management enrolled in the Corporate Social Responsibility module had the opportunity to visit The Social Teahouse, a social enterprise that serves as an inspiring example of purpose-driven business and sustainable development.
During the visit, students gained firsthand insight into the mission, concept, and initiatives of The Social Teahouse, which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. They explored the challenges of running a social enterprise and learned how businesses can create a meaningful impact on society.
As part of the experience, students were invited to contribute their creative ideas and organizational skills to upcoming events and projects at The Social Teahouse. This engagement provided them with valuable hands-on experience in corporate social responsibility and highlighted the significance of socially conscious business models.
The visit was made possible with the support of Ireene Leoncio, a dedicated lecturer who encourages students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business and social initiatives.
VUM remains committed to practical education and collaboration with innovative organizations that inspire future professionals to develop sustainable and responsible business strategies.
