The beginning of a new academic journey in a foreign country is both an exciting and transformative experience for many international students. At Varna University of Management (VUM), this transition is met with warmth and support, ensuring that every mobility student feels welcomed and ready to embark on their studies.
This semester, nearly one hundred mobility students from a diverse range of 13 countries, including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Poland, Germany, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Moldova, Mongolia, and the Philippines, joined VUM’s multicultural family. VUM is becoming increasingly attractive to students from all over the world, offering high-quality education, an international environment, and opportunities for academic and personal growth. Their arrival marks an important moment for the university, enriching its diverse academic environment with new cultures and perspectives.
During the welcoming period, students attended a lecture that introduced them to academic life and familiarized them with the university and its operational structure. This session provided essential information about academic procedures, student support, and extracurricular opportunities. The International Cooperation Department ensured that students had access to all necessary resources for their successful integration.
After the lecture, students had the opportunity to relax and socialize during a cocktail event held at the training restaurant of CAI. This gathering allowed students to meet and interact in a friendly and sophisticated setting, strengthening the sense of community among the newcomers. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to network and start building friendships that will accompany them throughout their stay at VUM.
The arrival of mobility students at VUM is always a moment of excitement, bringing new energy and perspectives to the university community. With a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and multicultural environment, VUM ensures that each student’s experience is not only academically enriching but also personally fulfilling. We look forward to witnessing their achievements and growth throughout their time at VUM.
