Words that carry deep meaning and pride. Words that every Bulgarian knows from the time of the first school bell and the first step on the school threshold. Words with past, present and future!

In Bulgarian history there are achievements that do not fit within an era and even a nation. Such is the deed of the brothers Cyril and Methodius, which turns the Bulgarians into a nation, finding its identity in the great and sacred words: “AZ, BUKI, VEDI, GLAGOLI, DOBRO, EST… ..”.

Centuries later, the Saints Cyril and Methodius are still alive, thanks to every word we say, every thought we wake up with, and every dream we fall asleep with.

Being in the enlightening role of the teacher today, we have accepted as our highest duty to teach and inspire our students and children for worthy deeds! Only in this way will we fulfill the covenant of the holy brоthers – to open our eyes to the invisible splendor of knowledge, to reveal the boundless power of spirituality, to give wings to the bold ones, the ones eagerly seeking knowledge.

For almost a quarter of a century, Varna University of Management has been striving to be a unifier, following the work of our first teachers. A unifier of numerous and diverse cultures, languages ​​and customs, coming here with our international students from dozens of countries around the world – a unifier in the name of the most valuable – knowledge and education.

This year the celebration of the day of the enlighteners of the Slavs, equals of the Apostles Cyril and Methodius is a little more different. But there is no virus, cataclysm or force to stop the power of enlightenment and the desire to go further to a bright future!
