As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) course, students from Varna University of Management (VUM) had the opportunity to visit the American Corner (AC) at the Varna Public Library. This insightful session allowed them to explore key commercial and civic issues that impact businesses and society, reinforcing the crucial role of responsible leadership in today’s dynamic world.

The visit included engaging discussions, curated readings, and a documentary screening, all designed to deepen students’ understanding of corporate social responsibility, ethical decision-making, and the intersection between business and community impact. The students gained valuable insights into the challenges and responsibilities that modern organizations face and how businesses can contribute to a more sustainable and socially responsible future.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Tsvety Voycheva, our dedicated librarian partner from the American Corner, for providing enriching materials and facilitating an engaging conversation on these important topics.

At VUM, we emphasize experiential learning and practical education as essential components of our academic approach. This visit is a perfect example of our commitment to integrating real-world exposure into the learning process, allowing students to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications. Through field visits, case studies, industry partnerships, and interactive sessions, we equip future professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful impact in their careers and communities.

As VUM continues to foster strong academic and industry collaborations, we look forward to providing our students with more hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for the challenges of the modern business environment.
