During December 2024, Varna University of Management had the privilege of hosting a heartfelt farewell visit from a group of Erasmus+ credit mobility students from the University of Cebu in the Philippines. These students spent the semester immersing themselves in academic courses, cultural exchange activities, and various community events on campus. Their dedication and enthusiasm contributed to a vibrant international environment that benefited both their personal development and the broader VUM community.
Beyond the classroom, their stay was enriched by opportunities to explore the cultural heritage and traditions of Bulgaria. Through joint projects, local excursions, and collaborative workshops, they strengthened their cross-cultural communication skills, fostering lasting connections among peers and faculty members. As their time at VUM came to a close, it was evident that both our institution and the students had gained invaluable experiences, perspectives, and friendships that will endure well beyond their stay.
While it is never easy to part ways with such exceptional students, we are grateful for the profound impact they have had on our community. We wish them continued success in their future academic pursuits and personal endeavors. At the same time, we look forward to welcoming the next group of Erasmus+ credit mobility students from the University of Cebu at the end of January, eager to continue this fruitful collaboration and to create new opportunities for shared growth and learning.
