Today, the vice-rector for research of Varna University of Management, Prof. Dr. Stanislav Ivanov, introduced media representatives to the new acquisition of the educational institution – the humanoid robot Profy.

Profy will be used to train students from various majors – both those from the Software Systems and Technologies programme, as well as those studying International Business and Management and International Hotel Management.

The task of the engineers will be to program different behavior of the robot in various situations and events. Their goal is to “teach” the robot to provide information at the reception, in a restaurant, during various conference events and others.

Business and tourism students will need to be creative and use their knowledge to create original and curious experiences for tourists and employees with the robot.
Profy is another proof of the aspiration and hard work of the team of Varna University of Management to implement modern teaching methods and the latest technologies in the education of its students.
