On 21st and 22nd February 2019 Varna University of Management will host an International Workshop “Capacity Building for Umbrella Organizations to Support Sustainable Hospitality”.
The event aims to enhance umbrella organizations` capacity to support their members and interested hospitality enterprises with the necessary information and assistance in adopting the sustainable approach into their activities. The workshop topics, therefore, put focus on innovations, good practices and resource management systems in hospitality. In addition to gaining new knowledge and skills, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experience and sustainable approaches with their colleagues from Albania, Greece and North Macedonia. They will also enjoy an attractive culinary demonstration, organized and presented by the students and chef-instructors from the Culinary Arts Institute at VUM.
The event is organized by Varna University of Management in collaboration with the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Association and will be officially opened on 21st February at 10 a.m. in the Conference Hall of VUM, 13A “Oborishte” str, 4th floor.

The event is open to all interested representatives of umbrella organizations, associations and clusters in the field of tourism and other stakeholders from the hospitality sectors.
The Workshop is organized within the framework of the project “Entrepreneurial Learning Exchange Initiative for Sustainable Hospitality SMEs in the Balkan-Mediterranean Region ” (HELIX) .The project is implemented under Subsidy Contract No. BMP1/1.3/2616/2017, Priority Axis 1 “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, Interreg V-B Balkan-Mediterranean Programme (2014-2020).
