Varna University of Management (VUM) – Varna announces the launch of its first “Recommend a Friend” scholarship campaign – an innovative initiative aimed at all current students of the university. The campaign provides an opportunity for financial support in the form of a scholarship to those who recommend their friends to join the academic community of VUM.

The initiative aims not only to provide financial assistance to students but also to create a more cohesive and motivating learning environment. Studying together with friends is a proven way to increase academic motivation and reduce stress during studies.

VUM offers modern bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in sought-after professional fields such as tourism, management, computer science, and culinary arts. Thanks to its partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK), VUM graduates receive two diplomas – Bulgarian and British – which significantly expands their opportunities for employment on the international labor market.

VUM’s programmes stand out for their practical orientation – every student has the opportunity to complete up to 12 months of internship in EU countries within the university’s partner network. The internships are funded through the Erasmus+ program, with students eligible for grants of up to 10,000 euros.

Through the “Recommend a Friend” campaign, VUM once again reaffirms its commitment to placing students at the center of its educational philosophy, offering them not only high-quality education but also support on their path to successful career development.
