Varna University of Management (VUM) has launched its annual Christmas charity campaign, dedicated to supporting the Shelter for Stray Dogs in the village of Kamenar. Students, lecturers, and administrative staff are uniting behind the cause with the aim of improving the living conditions of the animals housed there.
The university announced that a special donation box has been placed in office 410D. Anyone wishing to contribute can do so through financial support or by providing material donations such as food, blankets, and other essential supplies needed by the shelter.
As part of the initiative, a visit to the Kamenar shelter is planned for December. Representatives of VUM who take part in the campaign will have the opportunity to meet the animals in person, spend time with them, and deliver the collected donations on-site.
VUM’s Christmas initiative once again highlights the university’s commitment to social responsibility and the active role of the academic community in supporting meaningful public causes.
