For another consecutive year, Varna University of Management is ranked No.1 worldwide in terms of student mobility according to the prestigious independent ranking system U-Multirank.

Since 2014 the U-Multirank rating system compares the quality of training in higher education institutions around the world. Highly users-oriented, the world ranking covers many aspects of the higher education – research, teaching and learning, international focus, knowledge transfer and regional significance. It allows users to identify a university’s strengths and weaknesses, on the aspects that most interest them. The data included in U-Multirank are drawn from a number of sources, providing users with a comprehensive set of information – data supplied by international and national institutions, drawn from international bibliometric and patent databases from national databases and by surveying more than 100,000 students at the participating universities.

This year, the ranking includes 1711 universities from 96 countries, which are rated under 10 key indicators. In terms of International Student Mobility, for the third consecutive year, Varna University of Management takes the highest position, outpacing elite French, German and Swedish higher education institutions. According to the established standards for Student Mobility ranking the weight is given on the opportunities for training students abroad – mobility (exchange) and the share of international students in the total number of students in the institution.
