The new semester at Varna University of Management (VUM) starts with dozens of students coming from countries such as Argentina, Vietnam, Mexico, Albania, Armenia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Tajikistan, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, Cameroon, Ukraine, India, Nigeria, Turkey. With the beginning of this semester, the students start their studies in different majors and disciplines, and the end of the semester is expected to be in May. Some of the students are first-year full-time students, and others are here on mobility programs from partner universities, with the support of the Erasmus + Programme.
The young people have chosen studies in International Business and Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing and Management of the Tourist Services, Software Systems and Technologies, Hospitality and Culinary Arts. At the end of their education, the students who have studies full-time and have successfully graduated, will also receive double degree diplomas – one from Varna University of Management and one from our strategic partner Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Varna University of Management receives full-time students twice a year – for the semesters starting in September and in February. Additionally once again, this Summer VUM will organize a summer semester called European Summer University at VUM. The Summer University will be from June to August and there are almost 30 students from three continents who have already registered for it. The multicultural environment not only enriches the students, but it also gives them new horizons for professional orientation and development.
