A group of students from the LJ University, India were part of the Summer School of Entrepreneurship at Varna University of Management. The visit began a month ago and was closed with a warm certificates awarding ceremony at VUM Dobrich Campus.
During their stay the Indian students developed and enriched their business knowledge, skills and understandings. The course provided an ideal academic environment in which future business leaders had the opportunity to share and test their new ideas. Given the fact that practical training is one of the main competitive advantages of Varna University of Management, the program included a series of industrial visits in different sizes, fields of activity and history of partner companies. During the planned short visits, the companies presented their products and services, business models, way of managing the main processes in the organization and many others. Some of the companies the international students visited were KBC Shared Services & Digital Development Center, Neoperl Bulgarian and Albena Resort.
In addition to the planned modules for training and industrial visits, students had the opportunity to enjoy the lively Bulgarian Black Sea coast and summer life.
At the awarding ceremony yesterday, the visiting students seemed to feel at home as they had prepared a wonderful performance of traditional Indian dances and even sang the Indian national anthem.
