The annual international PhD seminar for Doctoral Researchers within Humanities and Social Sciences of Varna University of Management this year took place in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

By joining forces with the prestigious Ural Federal University, pooling two universities’ expertise and resources, the 4th International PhD seminar was hosted by the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg from 14 to 18 October 2019.

The Doctoral Academy, as a truly international platform, brings every year the latest techniques and methods in research methodology, while offering the opportunity to make acquaintance and form friendship with peers at different institutions.

The seminars and workshops were delivered by renown experts from the Ural Federal University. Special visiting lecturers were VUM Vice Rector Research Prof. Stanislav Ivanov and Prof. Nelarine Cornelius from Queen Mary University of London

The content of the Doctoral Academy focuses not only on Social Sciences, but also on Humanities, as one of the main local co-organizers are the Historical Department and the Management of the Ural Institute of Humanities.
