Today, as part of the Student Boot Camp within the Harmony project, the participating students had the opportunity to meet with the Marketing & Admissions team at VUM Varna Campus. The team conducted a brief presentation to introduce the students to Varna University of Management and provided them with essential information regarding the organization of the “Delight in Diversity International and Intercultural Festival.” This event will serve as the culmination of their collaborative efforts, demonstrating their acquired skills and comprehension of cross-cultural collaboration.

During the presentation, the VUM Marketing & Admissions team shared details about the university, highlighting its academic programmes, faculty the diverse student community. They also emphasized the importance of cultural diversity and the significance of the upcoming festival in promoting intercultural understanding.

The students received comprehensive information about the various aspects of organizing the grand finale event. The team discussed logistics, such as event planning, marketing strategies, and participant engagement. They also provided guidance on budgeting, sponsorship opportunities, and effective communication techniques to ensure the success of the festival.

The students actively participated in the session, asking questions and expressing their enthusiasm for the project. With the guidance and support of the VUM Marketing & Admissions team and the International Cooperation Department, the students are now well-equipped to embark on the journey of organizing the “Delight in Diversity International and Intercultural Festival.” This event will undoubtedly showcase their abilities to work collaboratively across cultures, celebrate diversity, and create a memorable experience for all participants.

The highly anticipated Student Boot Camp, a part of the HARMONY project, is set to take place from the 2nd to the 21st of July 2023 at the prestigious Varna University of Management (VUM) campus in Dobrich, Bulgaria. This transformative 14-day training program aims to foster international collaboration and support the modernisation and accessibility of higher education institutions in India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. The project also aims to promote cooperation between European and Asian universities, facilitating strategic internationalisation in education, research, mobility, and services.
