VUM’s strategic partner for over 10 years – Cardiff Metropolitan University has been awarded the QAA Quality Mark for meeting and exceeding UK expectations for quality and standards in its QAA review, reveal this year’s results of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education – an independent body that safeguard standards and improve the quality of UK higher education wherever it is delivered around the world.

Regular quality assessment reviews are carried out by the QAA that published its Quality Enhancement Review (QER) of Cardiff Metropolitan University this month, and commended the institution for its achievements in many areas, including proactive approaches to increase levels of support to students during the pandemic, and the enhancement of the quality of the student learning experience.

Overall, the review team made the judgement that Cardiff Met meets the requirements of the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) on internal quality assurance, and that it meets the relevant baseline regulatory requirements of the Quality Assessment Framework for Wales.

Our partner university has worked hard to improve the student experience and we are delighted their efforts have been recognized.

Uniformly and in parallel, Varna University of Management works hard to strengthen and enhance the student experience as well as implement thoroughly all quality standards related to the education of all students, including those in our double-degree programmes with Cardiff Met.
