Nearly 60 representatives of the senior academic and management staff of 20 leading universities and administrative institutions in Ukraine received their certificates for successfully completed training at VUM.
Considering the high international positions of VUM as one of the leading business schools in Eastern Europe, representatives of the academic management and lecturers from reputable universities, as well as managers from local and state institutions in Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Sumy held an advanced training course entitled “Innovative methods and technologies of higher education in the context of globalization of the world”
The participants got acquainted with the main characteristics and challenges of the global education, the innovative teaching methods and technologies in higher education, the personality of the educator and the role of the student as a partner in global higher education, the set of “soft” skills that a modern lecturer should possess, as well as with the most important features and consequences of the globalization of the educational space.
The training course lasted for 36 academic hours and the main lecturer was Prof. Dimitrina Kamenova – Director of the Department for Modern Educational Methods at Varna University of Management.
