Representatives of the US Embassy in Sofia held a presentation in front of students from VUM within the “Black Sea Month” initiative. Jonathan Bayat /Management counselor/, Patricia Butron /Human Resources Officer, Financial Management Officer/ and Nikolay Yordanov /Human Resources Office/ conducted a session with the students, during which they provided basic information about the US Embassy in Bulgaria, how to apply for a job or internship with them, how to make a more competitive CV in English, as well as sharing job search techniques and tips for better performance during an interview, both live and virtual. They performed a mock interview for the students to show different types of attitude during an interview so that they can distinguish what is well accepted and what is not in general, from the point of view of the hiring staff.
