Step 1: Consult your university’s International Relations Office to find out if there is any kind of signed cooperation agreement between VUM and your home university. The procedures for applying for a visa in Bulgaria and recognition of ECTS, awarded by VUM after the successful completion of the module, may differ depending on the history of cooperation of your university with VUM.
Step 2: Submit your VUM application form.
Step 3: After receiving the VUM confirmation email, proceed with the next steps set by the VUM team to apply for a visa in Bulgaria and book your accommodation on the VUM campus in Dobrich.
To apply for the summer semester at VUM, you must complete the following steps:
Fill in the application form
Scan your international passport (identity document if you are a citizen of the European Union)
Provide proof of student status (minimum one of: Academic reference / letter of recommendation from the teaching staff / Screen for printing from the internal university system)
Send all the above documents to firstname.lastname@example.org application
- For non-EU citizens – at least 45 days before the preferred start date
- For EU citizens and those who can travel to Bulgaria without visas for 90 days – at least 15 days before the preferred start date
