On March 25–26, 2025, Varna University of Management (VUM) and Culinary Arts Institute (CAI) will participate in one of the most prestigious and large-scale culinary events in Bulgaria – Gourmet Fest Varna. This event brings together professionals, producers, young talents, and food lovers in a vibrant setting for sharing knowledge, innovation, and inspiration.
VUM and CAI will be represented at their own stand, located in the Festival and Congress Centre, Slivnitsa Blvd., Varna, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about our academic programs and the practical, career-oriented education we offer in Bulgaria and beyond.
Our current students will be directly involved in the event’s logistics, while CAI alumni Ivaylo Gaserov and Dimitar Paskov are event organizers, alongside our long-time chef instructor Kaloyan Kolev.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Chef Kolev for his commitment and for continuously providing our students with opportunities to take part in events of such prestige and scale. Engagements like these add value to their education and prepare them for real-world industry settings.
On March 25 at 14:00, VUM will be officially presented on the main stage of Gourmet Fest. This will be followed by a live culinary demonstration featuring our current student Diana Markova and alumnus Dimitar Paskov.
Our participation in Gourmet Fest reflects our strong commitment to learning through practice. We believe that real experience and industry exposure are essential for building confidence, professionalism, and passion in our students.
