A round table on “Skills needed for the manager and specialist today. The professions of future”. will be held at Varna University of Management on February 7th, 2020. The event will take place within the framework of this year’s edition of the VUM Career and Internship Fair and is organized jointly with the Regional Academic Center of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – Dobrich.

Business representatives and researchers, employers and faculty will discuss the range of knowledge and skills that a modern manager and specialist must possess. The event will be opened by Assoc. Prof. Silvena Dencheva, Coordinator of the Regional Academic Center – Dobrich at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and VUM lecturer and among the keynote speakers will be Assoc. Prof. Maya Ivanova, Programme Director of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at VUM. She will introduce the Next Tourism Generation (NTG) project, which addresses the same issues as the topic of the discussion and under which specific tools and solutions are currently being developed. The roundtable will also include guest speakers from the Tajik State University of Commerce in the city of Khujand, Tajikistan.

The event will start on 7th February at 9:30 am in Hall 417 of Varna University of Management.
