Clive Edwin Horscroft’s qualifications are primarily in the sphere of catering and hospitality and were received at Huddersfield Polytechnic, UK (now called University of Huddersfield) and at the Doncaster College of Further and Higher Education, South Yorkshire, UK. Clive Horscroft has extensive knowledge of European food service standards.
Prior to coming to International University College, he taught Food and Drink Service at the Braintree College of Further Education, Essex, UK, and Hospitality and Catering at the Doncaster College of Further and Higher Education. At Doncaster College he also managed the College Training Restaurant. As a School Skills Co-ordinator there, he took part in the development of flexible-schedule training courses for young people experiencing difficulties at school or at home. He was also instrumental in developing and delivering a series of training packages to support stronger links with the industry – the International Food Skills Academy (i.e. training for non-English speaking restaurants funded by the EU and covering areas such as cooking and preparing food, food service, food hygiene, and customer care).
Clive Edwin Horscroft has practical experience in the hotel, catering and hospitality industry, at both craft and management levels.
