Varna University of Management (VUM) is a specialized higher education institution based in Varna, Bulgaria. Founded in 1996, today the university is an internationally recognized institution for training in Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in the fields of Business and Management, Information Тechnologies, Hospitality and Tourism, and Culinary Arts. Double-degree programmes at VUM are taught entirely in English language.
VUM is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria, as well as by the British Accreditation Commission (BAC), a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

VUM has a rich and wide network of more than 200 active international partner universities from five continents. The strategic academic partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK enables students to complete their higher education with two degrees – Bulgarian from VUM and British – from the partner university.

SCHOLARSHIPS: VUM enables students with high results in the admission exams to receive a scholarship in the first semester of study. We take into consideration the academic qualifications from your high school diploma, English language exam results and motivation demonstrated during your admissions interview. After the first semester, students can apply for scholarships based on their academic performance.
PRACTICAL INTERNSHIPS: As a mandatory part of the curriculum, the students of the Varna University of Management undertake practical internships with a total duration of up to 12 months for the period of study. These internships are organized by the Career Center of the University, which has a rich and wide database of more than 200 international employers. Most of the traineeships are also paid from the employer, in addition to the financial grants students receive from the Erasmus+ programme.
