On 3 June 2026, a press conference of Varna University of Management was held at the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) National Press Club in Varna. The event was dedicated to the university’s 30th anniversary and highlighted its achievements in higher education, research, and international development.

The press conference was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr Todor Radev, President of VUM; Ms Vanina Valcheva, Vice President of VUM; Prof. Dr Stanislav Ivanov, faculty member at VUM; and Slavena Dimitrova, Marketing and Admissions Vice Director.

The main topic of the event was ‘30 Years VUM: International Recognition, Innovation, and Partnership with Business’. During the conference, the speakers presented key milestones in the university’s development, including its international recognition as one of the world’s leading business universities, the achievements of its academic staff, its strong partnerships with industry, and recent innovations in its educational programmes.

Particular attention was given to VUM’s ranking among the world’s top 200 business universities, a recognition that reflects the quality of its education, research activities, and international engagement.

The conference also featured a preview of some of the events planned to celebrate VUM’s 30th anniversary throughout 2026.
