At the end of June, Varna University of Management celebrated the 10th anniversary of its strategic academic partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK. For a decade now this collaboration allows Bulgarian and international students to receive innovative education following the British standards here in Bulgaria. As a leading business school in Eastern Europe, Varna University of Management has the exclusive privilege of educating students in programmes leading to not only a Bulgarian but a British higher education diploma as well, without the need for students to travel to the UK.
On the occasion of the anniversary, for the new 2019/2020 academic year, VUM grants 10 scholarships totaling 15 000 BGN for the candidates with the highest results in the admission process and with excellent English language skills, supported by an internationally recognized certificate.
These scholarships are in addition to the VUM Guaranteed Scholarship Fund, which is accumulated with the support of the business and non-governmental organizations and thanks to which more than 25% of the applicants start their education at VUM with financial support and nearly 50 % of the students receive a scholarship for academic results after the first semester.
The scholarships dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the successful cooperation with Cardiff Metropolitan University will be available for applicants for bachelor’s or master’s degree programmes for the academic year 2019/2020. Those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity will have to go through the admissions procedures at VUM starting with the completion of the electronic form on the university website by July 30th. Each candidate should undergo an interview either at place in Varna University of Management or by online video connection for the candidates who have no opportunity to visit the university during the summer months. The final ranking will be announced through the media and on the official website of Varna University of Management.
We wish good luck to all prospective students!
