The future of the country depends on the young proactive Bulgarians. Thousands of students graduate from the universities every year, yet, the companies experience difficulties in finding qualified staff. The shortage of specialists in the country leads to Bulgaria’s inability to compete on the global market for new investments.
The online portal of the Bulgarian municipalities called KМЕТА.bg organizes a national campaign – “My career – my future”. Its idea is to help the Bulgarian business in the searching of qualified employees as well as to establish close connection between the educational institutions and the entrepreneurs.
Thanks to their massive initiative КМЕТА.bg will support the development of the Bulgarian business, while also help the talented young specialists to get found by the employers that suit them the most.
Partners of the initiative are 29 well established Bulgarian universities, 9 successful companies, but the main among all of them is the Ministry of labour and social policy. Media partners are the economic portal Economic.bg and the news agency „Focus“.
All students willing to participate can submit their applications up until 14th June 2020, after registering and sending their innovative project on a topic of their choice to the particular platform created.
Each participant can send no more than one self-made project for each topic/field in accordance to the attached to these rules list, in a chosen professional field. The company which the project was made for should also be specified.
The jury, comprised by the partner companies of the initiative will choose the participants that will get awarded. Each of the presented companies is allowed to choose only one winner for the topic they had announced. The winner will get 2000 leva money prize and an opportunity for career development in the relevant company (up to their discretion).
